30/06: Famitsu Game Rankings: 21st June - 27th June 2010

While the west suffers through a pretty dry period of the calendar as far as games go, Japan seems to be in no such problem. How do I know this? Well, last week they managed to have a complete re-shuffle of the top 10... Well, not complete. But nearly. 70% of the table is brand spanking new games, the rest have all been shuffled out of their places from last week. So, let's get down to it then; Konami leads the new-game-revolt this week with it's creatively named re-release of Love Plus: Love Plus+. Don't worry, I had thought of several programming jokes to write here, but I'll spare you. I'm here all week, don't forget to make eye contact with your waitresses and stop playing WoW at the dinner table. Next, Capcom's Monster Hunter Frontier Online for the Play-- Wait, Xbox 360? That can't be right... A 360 game in second place... Above Mario Galaxy at #5? Gentlemen, to the doomsday bunkers. The only really other notable item is White Album, which I haven't heard of before. A quick Google search to the game's official website confirmed why it's there... Oh Japan, where did it all go wrong for you people? Full list below;
