Microsoft E3 Keynote wrap-up. The Microsoft Keynote is over. The Keynote itself was quite reminiscent of last year's stage show where Microsoft relied extremely heavily on Microsoft's Kinect to push the system forward.
The show kick-started with some footage of Modern Warfare 3, showing a mission where you fight your way through an enemy submarine. Next was Crystal Dynamic and Square Enix's new Tomb Raider title showing it's gameplay and impressive fire physics.
EA Sports announced that all it's upcoming sporting titles will support the Xbox 360's Kinect, although little was elaborated upon. Other EA titles such as The Sims 3: Pets, Hasbro Family Game Night and Mass Effect 3 were confirmed to use Kinect. Mass Effect 3 will use voice recognition in multiple forms. Expect more at EA's conference later today.
Other notable appearances were made from Ghost Recon: Future Warfare, Gears of War 3 and Forza Motorsport 4. A new remake of the original Xbox classic; Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary was announced as well as a new Halo game altogether in Halo 4, "a new trilogy"...
Kinect titles dominated the back-end of the conference with Fable: The Journey, Star Wars Kinect, Minecraft Kinect, Kinect Sports 2, Dance Central 2, Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster, Kinect Disneyland Adventures (yes, you go around Disneyland), Kinect Fun Labs (a collection of small-scale software experiments) and the Crytek-developed "Ryse", a Kinect brawler title set in ancient Rome.
